Choose a book by the space you grow in
Start with the question you want answered. A windowsill herb pot, a raised vegetable bed, and a crowded balcony each call for a different plan, so the topics below are grouped by what you grow and where.

Before you choose
Match the book to your conditions
Lighting is the first thing to measure. A south-facing sill, a shaded patio, and a room lit only from one window support very different plants, so check how many hours of direct light your space gets before picking a title. Square footage matters too: a single balcony rail holds a handful of pots, while a small plot can carry a full season of crops. Climate shapes timing. A book written for a cool, wet region will suggest sowing dates that may not fit a hot or dry one, so read the scope note on each ebook and use its guidance as a starting framework rather than a calendar.
Each product page lists who the book is for, what you will learn, its contents, and a preview of the first pages. Use those details to confirm a title fits your space before you buy.
